My Morning
My Morning

Early in the morning I like it best
Very little noise to make it a mess
Quiet, quiet everyone is sleeping
The sun is up, barely peeping
My thoughts are clear and
And sharp as time
My dog Oliver follows me behind
He is my best friend, but I do not care
I just like to know he is there
It is nice and dark, not too many lights
The neighbors are sleeping in their nook
You cannot see much, so no worries about my look
I get on the computer and write a poem or two
It makes me feel creative......
Because that is the most therapeutic thing for me to do.
