My Little Stocking

I’ve left my little stocking; Santa will visit tonight And he will fill it with toys… I’ve left a sack too. Jack Horne, 8th November, for Russell's Stocking Tribute * I never really had a stocking, LOL

As long as your foot isn't in it! Sorry Jack, it was the first thing I thought of when I read this. Couldn't help laughing.

What a pity you didn't have a Christmas stocking, Jack. Wish I'd known that before I mailed your gift. You still did a great job describing the anxious child with great expectations. A sack? LOL Very witty! Best wishes in Russell's stocking contest. Love, Carolyn

hahaha, this is really fun! Loved that last line. I never got a sock with a cat in it either, but I love to imagine it.
