My Heart Is Like a Flame
My Heart is like a flame,
and everyday it slowly burns dull,
and my heart beats slower,
and nothing seems real,
Everything fake and plastic.
Everything around me,
Like the flame burns dull,
and I don't know what to do anymore,
My love is gone for my fellow Man,
Then again, my love for flowers grow.
Everything around me now burns,
It is all gone,
The women do not spare a passing glance,
and the faces I had once known,
and shared great laughs with are all gone.
But the flowers stay behind,
and they all bloom like no tomorrow,
Thou the garden is burned and long gone,
The flowers are at full bloom stay with me,
and they smile at me and I smile back,
Soon the flames will go out,
and the heart will soon halt,
The faces will indeed continue to pass,
Letting out laughs from the past,
and ten thousand flowers will liter my grave.
