My Christmas Miracle

MY CHRISTMAS MIRACLE Yes, Virginia, there really is a Christ Born more than two thousand years ago This Man actually gave His Life So all the world would know That if we just believe in Him And live our life in faith Our hope of eternity will never dim He has prepared for us a place Although the world may never see The Truth He holds for all The fact that He died to set us free Is the greatest gift of all So my Christmas miracle, Virginia dear As we celebrate His birth Is that people living everywhere Would experience His peace on earth Curtis Moorman 29 November 2011 For Carolyn Devonshire's contest

Every day I pray for peace, Curtis, and I admire your faith. One thing that made this beautifully writte poem stand out was the inclusion of "Virginia" and sharing these wishes with a child. Congratulations on your second-place win! Love, Carolyn

Great to be off wk and reading my friend's wonderful poetry, Curtis. First stanza--try throwing a cap on "his" life. A great angle to write of this popular movie. :) Have a wonderful wk as u prepare for the holidays. Love, Gwendolen
