My Big World

My Big World My world was never so big then I looked for you and you were gone You walked into a thousand misty summers and now rooted to this spot I wait It's a private thing Our secret, shared in which all that is and all that was holds its breath while I grieve in my big world where living without you is like that hole you used to talk about that could never be filled a hole as big as the world and as empty

Thankyou Anne Lise. I wrote this poem last year. It is about losing my daughter in 2008, your comments are much appreciated. Greta x
