My Beautiful Angel
My Beautiful Angel
Every time I close my eyes,
It is your perfect face I see.
A thousand silent, screaming cries,
Have left me shattered down on my knees.
But every time the sun does rise,
I feel your presence; a subtle, healing breeze.
Your beauty resonates both time and space.
For you are the lucky one,
you are now in a better place.
Maybe I am selfish, wishing the past to be undone.
Who am I to question His web as intricate as lace.
He must know what a perfect soul it is that He has won.
So I close my eyes and think of you,
Untill the day my wish comes true,
When holding you is once again a reality,
And no longer just a desperate plea for my sanity.
For you my daughter, my love is endless,
Because of all the Angels, you are the most precious.
