Mustang

Wind drinkers flow with strength and grace. Thunder pounds from their hooves. Run wild Mustang, Run. As one they "run" across parched earth, born free and "wild" from the time of birth. Their manes flow "as" water, in the wind. Hooves dig in, "the" desert floor, they rend. Full moon at "midnight" leads their way, while in the night "sky" their ancestors play. Very good poem you have here about the Mustang. And I like the acrostic within the poem that you highlighted "run wild as the midnight sky.

Awesome. You combined an Acrostic, but placed it in the middle. Very creative, wish I had thought to do that. Congrats on a well deserved win...................S.Ronthorpe

Paula I really like yours alot. I just read HG's blog and truly I am confused. I see that you used the word "run" in your introductory quote. Is the idea to take at least one or two words from the middle words of the larger poem and incorporate them into your title somehow?? Wish you could look at mine and tell me if I did it right! It's called Meet in the MIddle (I think) Luv, Andrea
