Mountain Reflections

daydream reflections --
vertical images rise
from languid ripples 

winter bathed in snow
across the frozen tundra --
cerulean sky

sun swept amber earth 
touches crystalline hillside --
a vista, serene

Hi Rhonda, I will miss you, even though you are busy with life and not here on the soup...~ Did you really think I'd leave without stopping by to say Good-bye. Never, Muwahahahaha! Why the word alone sounds -forever and difficult. LOL, I love this place and the poets. A couple of soup friends and I are taking a short vacation. REMEMBER! Rhonda, a lot of writers label their Senryus mistakenly, thinking that seventeen syllables is all that's required for a Haiku. You understand and leave no doubt that you know what a Haiku truly is, and these are great (and true) Haikus. Great work!

Real haikus and not a mere placing of 17 syllables together to form a 'haiku'. A masterpiece. Can I post it on my short poetry blog 'fryktorein.blogspot.gr'? I'm a lover oof haikus, tankas and very short poetry.
