Mother Prays

When you lose your Mother You lose a connection to Heaven. Why did my mother pray for me? What was it that made her believe? That such a child could find his way To be a better person each day To grow and be a man so strong To think of others and right wrong To love the Lord just like she Because my mother loved me She did without so I could have more She worked two jobs to help her afford The comforts of life for her child To make a little boy smile Now in Heaven she still prays for me So that one day I may be received Through those Pearly Gates into Paradise My mother had a way of making everything nice.
