Moses Is Back
Moses is taking too long, and I don’t know why.
It’s been a long time since he went up Mt. Sinai.
He went looking for a burning bush that was able to talk.
Up that steep mountain is an awfully long walk.
The people became impatient with each passing day.
They worship a golden calf since he went away.
I don’t know how they can do such a thing.
Moses can cause God to deliver a brutal sting.
God will be angry with us without a doubt.
The rocks will split open and the flames will shoot out.
I know the lightning will strike and the ground will shake.
People, we will all pay for our big mistake.
Well, Moses is back, and now I’m full of fear.
I’m not sticking around. I’m getting the hell out of here!
