More Than Me

Twas by divine revelation I became aware, That I don't live for me alone; And possessions are really wonderful blessings, Not just things I own. That even my place in this universe, Is involved in a grander scheme; It's why everything happens on purpose , And nothing is as it seems. My life is merely a stepping stone, So others benefit from my gain. And everything I do while on this Earth, Is all that will remain. So now I choose my paths more wisely, For there are others who count on me; And even though we may never meet, I hope I've been all I could be.
