Midnight Pearl

At the midnight hour... you are there next to me, tenderly touching and being touched. The softness of your skin and the glow in your eyes remind me of a beautiful pearl gleaming from its shell. The essence of perfection not fantasy but real, and within my grasp. The outer shell of both pearl and you protecting the treasured gift within-- a gift clutched and formed over time. Tender love shines forth for the fortunate few, I have seen and touched that perfect pearl, I have been touched and loved by another... at the midnight hour.
