Such a lovely poem, Gert. Are you seeing these signs of spring finally? We have the bumble bees just about year-round here. I guess Marguerites are wildflowers or perhaps butterflies? Hope you are feeling better, my friend. I was living in blissful ignorance until I saw all the doctors. We have a food dish here called "pasta prima vera." I guess it means "spring pasta." There are lots of vegetables and it's quite tasty. Enjoyed your poem! Love, carolyn

Beautiful imagery, Gert. Wow, I must admit I hadn't heard of Lotte - but how wonderful for you to be related to such a star! I must see if I can get any of her recordings on Amazon. I took my mother to see the Sound of Music at the theatre not long ago - and I see Lotte discovered the family's vocal talents too. Amazing lady! Sue's had a bad cough but I think she's on the mend. Hope you're feeling better, my friend.
