Meditation On a Spider Web Premiere Contest Winner

Between a flowering hedge and garden path illuminator, an ancient ritual unfolds. In motion, her fascinating legs are silver lit and busy as they knit a geometric circle. Perfect, concentric as she navigates in the half light, it glows unfolding from her orb, ready to be touched by morning dew. Circular, suspended in light from outer edge to inner circle she rests at last within its centre. Taut to each claw a strand is fixed. Death will come tonight for some unsuspecting creature 1st. These simple little spiders weave the most geometrically perfect webs. They don’t seem to mind you watching up close. Perhaps we are in a different dimension so they don’t notice us. Just a theory lol, Hope you are well. SuZ

oh what a web we weave....comes immediately to mind....and so many times i have stopped to admire a web bejeweled in dawns first moments when the crepuscular shadows slide into the light revealing diamonds galore....a pause to say how was the hunting my lady last night....hopefully many a mosquito was eliminated...beautiful, loved it

Not a fan of insects, but you caught well, Suzanne, the reality of mother nature, which is not as we humans tend to romanticize [I tried the same re the coronavirus with 'I, Too, Wanna Live']
