May Day

Alone, all alone stand I As the merciless waves loose rage on this old oak vessel. Alas, the Captain long gone Hears not the yell of an erring Deck Hand. Asleep was I when abandon ship was sounded Now I know not which to save My helpless self or this half sunk vessel? Both long doomed to crawl the depth of this restless sea.
