John, is that murderer dead now? thanks for telling me the story. Makes this poem even more meaningful. And it was too nice what you said about my Lily Jane poem. If I could be even HALF what she was as portrayed by truman capote!!

No, not dead. Recently came up for parole; that won't happen. I think he's in the Marion Fed Pen. Wherever; stay there. Your poetry has something above and beyond.

Marty and I worked closely; like a father to me. Jonathan Haynes shot him; sentenced to death, but our governor 'commuted' all in our state. At least he'll die inside.
