She would be 85 now. I wonder if we'd still write poems about her?

There are so many theories about Marilyn's death, Ned. Some feel she was silenced by politicans who had slept with her. Quite an irony in the last line, too. She dyed her hair blond and died as a blonde. But I doubt anyone will ever forget her. I remember how stunned people were to learn of her death and love Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" composed for her. A mysterious icon she remains. Poignantly written, Ned! Love, Carolyn
