Many Colors

Many Colors Authored by Chuck Keys There are many colors Some breed hate Others hide our fears. Vague shades contradict clarity It can hide guilt but not shame Colors are an empty value. We are pure and proud When we see colorless In our hearts as well. © Charles H Keys, 6/15/2010 © All Rights Reserved

This is an excellent poem. I like the reality of the words as they flow along. The imagery is also wonderful. A colorblind society would be just perfect. Great job! Joseph

Hello Chuck, just woke up from a nice nap. Opened up to your name... So here i am enjoying a poem about the colors we are blinded to. Also the colors that build all the hate right in front of us. Enjoyed your poem, i wonder what you are feeling to have written this. Strong words, used in a brilliant manner of truth. Thanks fot the poem,...your friend ,..p.d.
