went to see my folks
just about an hour drive
seems so much longer

but each time I go
it's better than I expect
she is totally

changing legacy
from control freak to kindness
beautiful to watch

this transformation
right before my very eyes
could probably learn

to treat my fam'ly
to a lil bit of the same
dad still sits silent

Hi Kristi This a nice little poem and it also teaches forgiveness. So many people do not allow for change after human error through genuine remorse. We all have much to learn often through other's mistakes. Also of course we can be inspired by the goodness of other's through their transformation.Thank you for sharing these words they gave me food for thought. And I did like the poem. luv June(sylvia)
