Love Is
.
love is
staying strong, showing courage, through grief and pain
if they might gain more strength and courage by watching you
love is
putting your own needs on hold
if they are cold from seeds of discouragement, pain, dark clouds of rain
love is
a gift to their pride, giving them a reason to help
it may be your gift of the season, even if it's easier to do it yourself
love is
not giving advice when advice should be heeded
instead, love with your eyes, and just be there if needed
