Love

Is that what you and i shared
when we stared across each other across the classroom
Is that what set my heart racing
when you walked past me in the stairs
Is that what made the blood course
through my veins and made me blush when you smiled
Is that what makes me stammer
when you asked me anything
Is it love which makes me envious when you walk away
with that cute looking girl
Maybe its love that holds me
back from telling you that i love you
Maybe its the theory of love which
keeps me from telling
because
love is sometimes best left unsaid
but still felt by each cell in my body...

Hi shreyas,,, I really enjoyed your lovely, poem. I think john made a great comment,, I noticed the whole biological chemical experience felt with the feeling of love. You captured that great,,,,which isnt often said in alot of poems. I love the end the theory of love!! And I believe we use it to guard our hearts from getting hurt, so in some things are best left, unsaid....thanks so much for visiting my poem. A song of love, really appreciate it:) cheriexx

Hi Shreyas, I completely agree with your poem, what you said was word perfect, you must have felt what you wrote here, this is really good poetry, something that is missing from a lot of other poems that I have read before, you have great talent and I feel your destiny is writing poems or even romantic novels, all the best. John
