Lost Hope

Lost Hope !

Walking hand in hand, with beautiful Dreams,
towards moments, never to be realized, it seems.

In a state of reverie, a trance ?
With your essence, I would love to dance
the rest of my life away.
With your soul, to spend each and every day!

Not to be !, that is what you deem,
as I walk hand in hand with that Dream.

Seventy – a rocking chair and stool ?
Is this all that remains for an old fool ?,
Who thought he was once so cool.
Now, only a reflection in some stagnant pool.

Life is cruel !, it is mean !
Looking back, what has it been ?

Thank you for thinking so Gwen Benita, it is reassuring my Dear, to learn that, as a lone voice in the wilderness, I am just one of many and it is great that you think I am adequate, up to the standards of so many, better the I . All the best and “ Do you remember ”, I sure do Gwen Benita, but nothing remains the same!, until it comes around again . B. J. “A” 2 ( Bill . )
