Lost a Girl Found a Wife

I lost my precious apple I didn't know what to do I never thought it could happen Till the day I lost it all. I was used to my apple without it I was lost I will do anything to get it No matter what it costs. I went in search of my apple The one that is now a dream I saw it in a garden, I ran there with a scream Only to find with a stranger, with tender loving care. I came home with a temper That boils like hot water I wandered about the path, like one that's lost his mind And that moment I knew, I wouldn't take it back. The years have now gone by I am glad I did not die. A precious apple I lost Now I have a golden one.. Poem written by Ogunfowokan Kolawole Originally mine
