Look Closer

Raging rapids rumble down the ragged rocky row Of the many magnificent mountains that tumble down below, From up upon the clouds The eyes can see so far and wide, The rapids race down mercifully Till they merge in the valleys tide, From the clouds they drop pennies, And while they watch them gracefully fall, They wish that they could quench their thirst In the glittering waters below, But what they do not see in the tempting pool they seek, Are the many malling monsters that lurk within it's deep.
