Lone I Stand

Lone I stand, Amidst the rain unsheltered, Thought of ,yet forgotten Bleeding from the cuts of words Fighting the hell that is me. Behold, I do not falter Clinging the ropes of tomorrow, I bathe in tears of rage. So laden me not with guilt, and sorrow But decorate me in flags Of her name, And further shall I tread through the halls of shame With my head held high, to fight the War That is my own.

I like the way you arranged your poem. I think it makes all the expressions in it come out even more with it not being lined up like a typical poem. Congratulations on getting it featured this week.

This is simultaneously sad and beautiful...it would make a great death metal song. Good job, and thank you for the kind comments on my own work :)
