Lone I Stand
Lone I stand, Amidst the rain unsheltered,
Thought of ,yet forgotten
Bleeding from the cuts of words
Fighting the hell that is me.
Behold, I do not falter
Clinging the ropes of tomorrow,
I bathe in tears of rage.
So laden me not with guilt, and sorrow
But decorate me in flags
Of her name,
And further shall I tread through the halls of shame
With my head held high, to fight the War
That is my own.
