Pretty little angel don't you cry I'm gonna sing you a lullaby Wipe those tears from your eyes Pretty little angel don't you cry I'm gonna bring you an apple pie Spread your wings so you can fly To the moon in starry skies Pretty little angel don't you cry I will pick for you some daffodils Where unicorns roam the hills I'll bring you stardust from the sky Pretty little angel don't you cry As I sing this lullaby Wipe all those tears from your eyes Spread your wings so you can fly Pretty little angel don't you cry For PD's Send me to sleep contest

I have not read any other entries for this contest but this one is very good. It would send me to sleep I am sure, but it is still morning. I like the second verse best.

I could sing this one to Hush Little Baby, the same song I was also basing my rhythm on. Very nice one for the contest.
