Listen

People will listen, not everyone will hear. It's just a little noise, no one will pay attention. The words i speak, are few and quiet, Though they are not very wise, Please keep them near? Just close enough to hear?

Boy, "few and quiet" ounds like me. I bet there are a lot of poets and writers that way because people that talk a lot don't have time to write. I like the poem and how you worded it. I do have one suggestion though. Because of the way you start out, it would make more sense to have some variation of "hear" in the last line.

The true colors of humanity will hear you without you needing to say a word. I, too, question who is really listening at times. Nicely put here!
