Lighthouse
I felt as though I was all alone
set adrift on a lonely sea.
I had to learned to steer my boat
and to sail ever so cautiously.
Then one day I came to learn
I had been deaf to a gentle cry,
through the fog I finally heard
you softly calling to me
sweeter than a lover's lie.
Come to me, come to me,
I followed your voice
like a hunter on a scent.
I'm coming, I'm coming
please don't let me forget.
And so I landed near my lighthouse,
you brought me safely to shore.
