Life Is Knocking

Life is knocking at the door, But don't be too quick to answer. Yet neither should you move too slow, Or it may pass you by. To open the door is to invite life in, Not to visit, but to dwell. For life is not a passing thing, Unless you move too slow. So if you wake one morning to go and do, But find that you cannot, Then life has probably passed you by. So hurry up and answer.
