Life In Painting
I’m walking….
In a world of paintings
As a portraits,
Unfinished, incomplete and yearning,
Wanting perfection though fictional,
a picture of inspiration,
infinite depth and meaning.
On my canvas,
I want….
Soft breezes;
With tales to tell,
Great winds and thick fogs;
Complications and obstacle in life,
Huge rolling waves;
strong emotions and feelings splashed on,
Mountains and peaks above the clouds;
Achievement and success;
Shining sun and twinkling stars;
real friends
an extra hand,
A drizzle on a spring landscape;
Blossoms along the path;
smiles at end of all.
Standing in the present,
Eyes like colored crystal turned back at my past,
A pearly tear for memories,
Hands out front;
Welcome the future,
Fair bright light;
perfection in infinite joys.
A perfect life,
On a canvas;
finished with talent,
Life as a painting,
My life in a painting.
Not many has perfect lives,
But many desire it,
Though only a handful work hard for it.
