Legacy

This life is but a mist that dissipates in the air The only thing that lasts is the legacy we share It is built on the foundation of who we are and what we do Plus where we've been and the things we've been through It's the stories of our lives, the accomplishments made The roads, the sidewalks, the highways we have paved Leading us on a journey, so those after may live a better life One filled with more blessings as to give no room to strife Yes, we must be careful in the paths which we choose When it comes to our legacy, we are not the ones who will lose So allow yourself to think and take a deep breath Is your legacy going to be a hindrance or a wonderful success
