Kryziu Kalna Gerbkime

Crushed by their godless creed,or so they thought, But your nation at heart bravely resisted and fought. Networks of spies and traitors were placed all around, Thereby they believed you would be kept down. With coercive restraint and armoured might They were firmly convinced that grim was your plight But near Siauliai on a hill was a seed strongly sown Crowded clusters of crosses were planted and steadily grown. Bulldozers were sent in to lay them all low Again and again a defiant crop did show Till at last the standards of Christ's cruel plight Made the powerful powerless and ready for flight. To the strength and faith of your nation, all hail. May your faith and your strength always prevail.

Siauliai is the capital of Northern Lithuania..so a symbol of death by crucificion was used as a symbol of resurrection, ok...it's just hard for me to see the cross as other than KKK or death..ok I get it yet a few more crumbs of info wouldn't hurt. HUGS!! and thanks!! Light & Love
