Kintsugi

from out of the ground
a creation moulded formed
waits the band of gold.

Yes dear poet, this is; 'Haiku' at its finest ! 5-7-5, this is in fret of the American poets...who thrust their lust before us ! And as for the; "Kintsugi"....(broken one); I pray the gold band repairs what was lost ! Have a wonderful day my friend.....Much love, james

Yours words are always precious like Gold. I really could appreciate this beauty sketched by you only after learning the meaning of Kintsugi which means - Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with a lacquer resin sprinkled with powdered gold". While reading this lovely verse I felt as if I can know reunite a broken piece of some very precious jwellery. Great haiku my friend from your skilled pen and thank you for reminding me a very old Poem of mine. Love and best wishes always..Ravindra K Kapoor

LOL harry you made me ask you what a sledge is I do know what the runner is like on a sled? [never a period on haiku because it's meant to be open to the readers imagination of what's there in the moment before & after the scene described, not a complete thought.] Light & Love
