Just One of Those Things
The air conditioner broke, it's one hundred degrees.
I think I am melting, can someone help me please?
It's just one of those things.
My energy is lacking I have to confess.
The dishes are dirty, the house is a mess.
It's just one of those things.
I just stubbed my toe, I'm limping in pain.
I just fixed my hair, now it's starting to rain.
It's just one of those things.
There's a roadblock up ahead, I'm not allowed to pass.
I can't turn around because I just ran out of gas.
It's just one of those things.
The bills are all due, I don't have a penny.
The Lord only knows that my troubles are many.
It's just one of those things.
I won't sit and cry about what tomorrow brings.
Nor, will I give up until the fat lady sings,
Because, it's just one of those things.
