Jessie James
Made it big as a wild west tough guy,
And when he came to town folks would hide.
He hung up his guns saying,"This life ain't fun."
And at the hand of a friend Jessie died.

Jessie James was shot in the back by a trusted friend, Robert Ford on April 3,1882 for the reward offered for his capture Dead or Alive.

Quite a memory of a legend Judy. There is a wonderful romance that goes along with these outlaws and the stories of them make great entertainment!

Yes Judy, Our Ned Kelly outlaw, was trying to form an Irish republic in Victoria so he said, but they hung him and took off his head, the Pommy overlords :)

After the civil war you guys had two sides, southerners and carpetbaggers exploiting Australia at the same time, we had exconvicts and deported Irish who sided with the outlaws, bushrangers against the Pommy masters and the rich landowners...

Thanks so much Don. Glad you liked this. What a shame he died just when he was trying to get his life together. God Bless, JB
