It'stime
A brutal truth finally faced
No more backstroking through my existance.
And from a distance and through a mirror darkly,
I see my ragged image through the eyes of my creator
Only then do i notice the tears in his eyes,
As he tells of my mission i denied
But i was the only one who believed the lie,
Forsaking a calling that that would make my soul rise.
But no more
Today i surrender my entire being
To giving my all for the call
Determined never again to fall
Though i may be mocked or cursed
Or face things far worse
I count it all joy for this day i chose
Never to lose
My eternal place of rest in the arms of the blessed,
For this day im reborn.
