It's Up To You

by: Kim H. M. I’m tired of people saying, You’re just one person, You can’t change the world. I’m tired of them telling you, You’re too small to do anything. I’m tired of them telling lies like that, There not true. They don’t know you. They don’t know what you’re worth. They don’t know what you can do. The world can only see half of you. It’s up to you, To show them the other half. It’s up too you, To let them go on. To show them they’re wrong, And to live up to who you’re supposed to be. Because you can be someone great. I make it my goal in life to help people know that their important. There are people in this world who believe that the world would go on just fine with out them. Some believe that they can't make a difference in this world. I want to show them, tell them, that, they can make a difference, that they are important, that they can follow their dreams. Think of your faviorte band, where did they start out? In the garage, or in their room, for most of them. Think of the President, where did he start out? Highschool, collage, and look where he is now. So many people that are in the history books, started out with nothing. George Washington lead the Revolutionary Army, he lost most of his battles, and he easily could have given up, but he didn't. Instead he kept going, he won the war, America has won freedom, and he, became the 1st President. The men who fought in that war were just as important, the war could NOT have been won with out them, America, would not have freedom, without them. And most of them were farmers, who didnt know how to fight. You are important, no matter what you think. You do make a difference, and I hope you know that.
