Isolation

Stony cliffs surround the lighthouse as waves buffet the shoreline The lighthouse keeper stands alone He will weather the storm Fierce winds blow from the North Yet he persists in his duty He knows that ship captains depend on him He lights up the beams They cut through the darkness Preventing ships from crashing on the rodky coast Th isolation of the lighthouse keeper is part of the reason the lighthouse keeper does not falter Standing alone he saves large vessels from destruction

I bet it is a lonely job! I'm glad someone does it though :) (btw, lighthouse misspelling in 2nd line)

ONe has to love being alone to be this kind of keeper. I think I could have made a good lighthouse keeper!! (as long as I had internet and my tv with me!)

Love lighthouses, Matthew! The sailors must bless him each time they come close to the rocky shoals and reefs. Hope all's well with you! Mikki :)
