Isolation
Stony cliffs surround the
lighthouse
as waves buffet
the shoreline
The lighthouse keeper stands alone
He will weather the storm
Fierce winds blow
from the North
Yet he persists
in his duty
He knows that ship captains
depend on him
He lights up the beams
They cut through the
darkness
Preventing ships from
crashing on the rodky coast
Th isolation of the lighthouse
keeper
is part of the reason
the lighthouse keeper
does not falter
Standing alone he saves
large vessels from destruction
