Is She the One?

(Inspired by the brilliant new avant garde Italian film: "I Am Love") Could she shatter vows, and is she the one who’d relinquish everything just for love? If it meant that all she knew would come undone, could she shatter vows, and is she the one? If she knew that those she cared about might shun her, could she go against her God above? Could she shatter vows, and is she the one who’d relinquish everything just for love? For the Contest: Is She the One? sponsored by Tavarus M. Moreland

hehe I'm back to reply on your interpretation of my poem :) Okay so in the first stanza the girl as the baby and the couple looking at her are her parents, and then from then on all the 'she's throughout the rest of the poem mean her. So it was basically an attempt to depict the whole life of that one girl through the eyes of others, especially her husband that is first introduced as the boy with the black-and-white photo. But of course, I might just decide it's all about souls. :) -Grace

Andrea. Saginaw is the last outpost of - I won't call it civilization - nothington. I fit in perfectly here....remain anonymous. Again, YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL FOURTH! Love, Dave

What? You consider Saginaw a small town? Actually it is now classified as a village. After the automobile industry sunk low, Saginaw went from 100,000 to under 60,000. For me, this is just about the right size. You have a good Fourth, ya hear. Love, Dave

This is heartrending… a precise, simple entry for Tavarus’ contest. Have you read my poem, “She is everything I need to know” and recently I wrote “marred marriages” the later was dedicated to all those who stayed strong after being brokenhearted but the former was dedicated to you all. Love your creative style mom Andrea! I love you mom, Adeleke

This form is new to me, but the poem is great, Andrea! There are lots of people who just cast aside their vows to follow through on infatuation's lure. Happy Fourth! Love, Carolyn

I didn't see the picture, but I love the poem. Even at my ancient age, if this vow-shatterer came along I might?.....have a heart attack. Have a good July 4th. Love, Dave

Interesting thoughts that you have penned..I wonder if anyone ever thinks about if the person will be faithful before they get married because they are caught up in the love and infatuation of the moment..Good luck in the contest...Seems like a winning write..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..Sara

Great poem,I have to watch that film, sounds awesome.Your words give much to ponder about. When one is in love, one can go against family wishes, his own faith, and what he believed all his life. .Re against God, deep down when there is love, its never against God.When someone really loves another,he goes against all odds.Sounds like a dilhema between heart and soul.I enjoyed and i' m adding this gem tmfvs. (re my poem, yes I have to find a way and time to adjust verses dear, tnks so much)C
