Invocation

a tritina Because we wish to follow You, Oh Lord, your Spirit's voice compels our souls to hear. Please guide our thoughts when we bow down in pray’r. It's not the asking what we want that's pray’r, but insights from your will, we seek, Oh Lord. Please help us focus long enough to hear. Reveal what YOU desire our hearts to hear; your Spirit interceding for our pray’r. With your deep wisdom, we mature, Oh Lord. Thank You, Oh Lord, you hear our ev'ry pray’r.

I like to think my prayers have matured in the last ten years, still too selfishly inclined but with an extra grandson in Dec. 2013 and just yesterday, (2023) my first great grandchild. It is for their future I pray these days as our world tumbles to disrepair.
