Invitation To the Rain
revive us with your mist, refresh the earth
calming rain, go not astray
settle our dust and care
rain, rain, come softly
symphony of our delight
summons is awash
pitti–pat, pitti-pat, pat
feel the rhythm in the rain
shower of coolness
calls our souls to reflection
why the umbrella
combining kimo, tanka, and senryu
in an invitation to the rain
