Inside the Wall

We build up walls just to hide…
Where no one can touch our fears or pride…
As life drifts by they slowly fall…
Age has given us the wisdom beyond the wall…
Where eyes see over and past contemplation…
As reality paints its own interpretation…
While patience falls from its virtue…
I sit and write from my soul to you…
