In a Helpless Position

The worst position on earth, is not being able to help someone you dearly care about. To sit on the phone and hear pain roar through your ear drums, pain you can't stop or even help stop. Guilt is sucking me in, like an eye of a storm. And I'm being torn apart, like a piece of paper. You constantly deny that anything is wrong with you but, after while you crack, like a criminal being questioned. You pour out the causes of your pain and the reasons you can't smile. All i can say, is that everything will be okay, but i can't make you believe it......because I'm in a helpless position.
