In a Cocoon

In a Cocoon Away a butterfly had flown, After it was found fully grown; Then into air and away it went; From God to us he had been sent. Would fly around flowers everyday; Back home he always knew the way; Saw much beauty in each wing; Happiness to all he did bring. For my friend, I do have a fear Because I know by end of year, We will never see him again; In a cocoon, another does begin. jthorn5656@atmc.net

Thank you so very much for the great comments. It seems like you and I are on the same wave length when it comes to writing poetry.
