i'm not an intellectual
really
i'm not

i've read a book
or two

lost a buck
or few

i'm not an intellectual
really
i got

more heart
than brains

more wings
than chains

besides,
a smart ass
is exactly that

I'm in a similar position myself, not much left to write but still check back here every now and then. Thanks for your comment on my recent and possibly last work. To be honest I'm started to feel alienated from all the happy good cheer this site exudes all the time. Every one here is so convinced we're supposed to be some loving family.
