If I Was a Bird

If I was a bird not in cage I would live on the mountains just like the sage. If I was a bird as you could be I would fly over the deep blue sea If I’ll be a bird how happy I’ll be I’ll fly over a man sipping his tea. If I was a bird, rain or shine I’ll love I would symbolize peace like a beautiful white dove But beware I must always be free For I’ll escape if you decide to cage me If I were a bird, happy life I’ll lead I’d be chirping loudly and eating my bread seeds.
