If I Had Just One Wish
If I had just one wish
I know the one it would be,
I’d wish to soar like an eagle
As I glide high on the breeze.
If I had just one wish
There’s only one I hold dear,
I’d wish the magical peace of Christmas
Be felt everyday of the year.
If I had just one wish
I know the one important to me,
I’d with to touch someone's heart
And make them believe.
If I had just one wish
There’s only one American thought,
I’d wish to thank decades of soldiers
Who for my freedom fought.
If I had just one wish
I know the one in my heart,
I’d wish to teach the world
Every person plays an important part.
If I had just one wish
There’s only one valuable to me,
I’d wish that when my time is up
Someone will always remember me.
