I Write For You and You Write For Me

I write for you
     You write for me
And this is as it should be.

From dusk to dawn
     And dawn to dusk
Writing is a mental must.

Words to rhyme and
     Rhymes to rhythm
Magic moments, we’ve been given.

At light of speed
     And speed of light.
Our thoughts still burn on through the night.

I love "Rhymes to rhythm", Terrell. That's how I feel about writing poetry.

LOL Eileen:) No worries about mistaking me for being new to Soup! I've been on a dry spell lately and haven't been the best at seeking out and reading other poets such as you. I suppose we get so absorbed in our writing at times, we tend to neglect the needs of others. So I owe you the apology and ask YOUR forgiveness for not finding you sooner. Happy to have found you – better late than never. And glad you enjoyed "I Write for You" (because I do). Terry

I love this playing with words and sounds and it gives a very pleasant rhythm to your kind feelings! Thanks for sharing! I am very curious too, in fact, to read the poem you dedicated to our delicious Delysia: hers is just so divine... Blessings, Hanitra
