I Will Hope In Him
What do you say when your heart’s beyond broken
When a volley of dark emotions overrun your spirit
Your soul pierced deep; heart lies shattered
When a child is taken away in a blink
Words lay dormant; unspeakable; lost
Held captive by a horror’s arrest
Lost in the wilderness of regret; time stands still
Body and soul tormented, languish on the edge of dispair
You shut yourself off; away from the world
Solitude calls to you in the silence
And begs your recall of the words of Job
“Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him;…” Job 13:15
