I Speak

I speak for the people Who look to the future With eyes blinded by poverty and lack All seeing nothing People tired of broken promises Shattered dreams And battered existences Masses tired of insensitive leaders Tyrants masqueraded as saints We Fed up with all this gross insecurity And shear uncertainty About economics We do not even understand Masses who wake up everyday With nothing but curses for their fatherland Masses coerced to bend their will consistently And continuously tortured by the snare of the powerful Frightful of the woes That come with rebellion I speak for those Unsure of what tomorrow brings….
